What do we eat on our raw diet?

What do we eat?

Sunday:

Breakfast – Canned Coconut Milk. Damon had made pancakes forthe kids and nothing sounded good after that.

Lunch – Large Salad with everything we could find in thefridge . It was excellent!

Dinner – Portobello mushroom burgers. Marinated several daysearlier in olive oil, balslmic vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper, and put in dehydrator after lunch (dehydrated for approx 4 hours). Kids had BBQ’d hamburgers, Damonput the mushrooms on the grill for 2 minutes each side to get that BBQ’dflavor. We put them on sprouted bread with all the fixings. They were great!Sorry I will remember to take a photo next time.We have been hungry for mushrooms, so I’m sure the next time will come VERYsoon! We've also done dehydrated Portobello's for lunch. I marinated the mushrooms for a couple of days and put them in dehydrator when I left for work at 8:45 am, grabbed all the sandwich fixings, and Damon brought the mushrooms for a lunch date. We had a picnic in the back of the Kia. MMMMHMMMMM. (I promise to take a photo next time ).

We worked in the garden most of the afternoon I fed theplants high nitrogen grow solution for their vegetative stage. Not many of theplants are ready to bloom yet. I’ve been feeding every two weeks. We have sucha large garden now Damon came up with an excellent way to make 30 gallons ofnutrients at a time. Take a 33 gal trash can, drill a 1 inch hole, purchase the1” hose fittings and about 4’ of 1” hose at the local hardware store. Attachthe parts and mix your stuff! Warning: pull your bucket up high early, when thecan is full, the water pressure will push the nutrients out fast!

NEED to take PHOTO (coming tomorrow ).

I used all 30gallons on just the outside plants. In two weeks I will switch to atransitional food, so they will go into flowering stage. You don’t need to buya bunch of nutrients, use an all purpose fertilizer, make sure it’s organic!
