Raw Kale Chips
Try these EASY Kale chips for a good wholesome snack.
1 bunch organic Kale washed and separated from large center stem.
Place on dehydrator sheets in single layer, set dehydrator at 118 degrees for approx 36 hours.
After crispy remove and place in large bowl.
Melt 1/4 Cup Coconut Oil
add 2 Garlic cloves
2 Tbs Nutritional yeast (we use Large Flake)
1 tsp Salt (Himalayan was good)
Pour above oil mixture on dried Kale and shake up to coat. Put back on dehydrator sheets, in single layer, sprinkle with more nutritional yeast and dehydrate until crispy again. Approx 6 more hours or overnight.
You can vary all ingredients to your liking. You may need to increase or decrease the size of the oil mixture depending on how much Kale you have. We like garlic and nutritional yeast, so we use alot!
Store in jar and enjoy for a great snack.

Our dehydrator is in full swing. I'm trying to keep something going in it at all times, it's not easy!
Other easy single ingredient items, any fruit sliced thin. We did try Beets, they were great, took about 3 days to dry and be crispy
