We all love to use use and love Vanilla don't we? In recipes for cookies, cakes, almost every dessert I can think of and now we love it in raw smoothies. Of course like cooked desserts, almost all raw desserts include it as well. If you don't already know, Mexican Vanilla is one of the better vanillas available (be careful, they also sell fake vanilla!). Of course I would always recommend an organic vanilla bean, but I know, it's not always possible. We all know they can be pricey!


We were lucky to find some raw vanilla beans for $25.00 for 1/4 lb. at the raw food expo in Fort Bragg a couple of weeks ago, otherwise we could never afford the substandard (at best) ones from the market! We have been using this vanilla for years. My grandmother used to go to Tijuana Mexico and purchase the best vanilla I had ever had. After several years of purchasing vanilla from the market after she passed away, I tried to look for Mexican vanilla online. Now I know how spoiled I was by her wisdom



I know the vanilla my grandmother gave me was not organic, but we now insist on only the best (and you should too). .... The flavor is incredible! Once you're tried it you can never go back!  You will never purchase vanilla at the local market again (hopefully)! Unfortunately the organic comes in a plastic bottle. You can transfer it into glass at home if it makes you feel better.

The best part is, it's also VERY inexpensive. Last time I looked it was going for $20.00 per 32 oz bottle or $45.00 for 3 - 32 oz bottles. Did you see that price? I'm not fibbing! Check it out for yourself!!

It's not the same as a vanilla bean, but it is wonderful in everything!!!!!! You're in for a real treat. Whenever we place an order I always purchase an extra bottle for a friend or family member that has never tried it. Are you on my list?
