Raw Kids Snacks
A fresh apple is a great snack. But they do get boring alone. So you give the kids peanut butter or jelly or honey to dip them in?
Nathan made this snack on his own! He sliced up an apple, put some agave in a bowl and sprinkled Organic Palm sugar on. Go Nathan!!!! Better than any candy bar or ice cream snack. (He took the photo also, good boy!)
Nathan and Ali are learning to choose raw snacks over junk food. It's up to us to keep good food choices in our home. The kids are starting to realize when they eat better they feel better.
What's in your cupboards? What do the kids have to choose from for snacks and dessert?
Other choices for this snack would be: Organic Honey in place of Agave, and Cacao powder instead of Palm Sugar. Read about Cacao, it's raw chocolate, tastes better and is a Superfood!

Of course he ate the whole thing! I think he licked the plate too!
We are very proud of both of the kids.

Thank you for some new ideas. I am always looking for healthy choices for classroom snacks for my kindergartners.
