Raw sauteed mushrooms and onions
We have found several raw vegan veggie burgers that we enjoy. Veggie burgers do have lots of chewing satisfaction and work for a quick meal be it lunch or dinner. I try to make some at least every other week or so. I'm not going to give you the recipe. If you want one, look up raw garden burger recipe, I know you'll find lots. Find one with the ingredients you have on hand, make a double batch and enjoy!
Tonight we knew we would be busy making some raw recipes for the weekend with the kids so we were having a quick meal. I also went grocery shopping after work so that meant I didn't get home until after 6:00. We did have some garden burgers that were made last weekend in the fridge so dinner was basically done. As usual a craving come upon us and we wanted sauteed onions and mushrooms for our burgers. It wasn't hard to decide how we could do it raw.
Slice your veggies just like you would if you were going to fry them.
We used Red onion, green bell pepper and Crimini mushrooms
Place in bowl and coat with:
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon nama shoyu (soy sauce)
1 teaspoon agave nectar
1 garlic, crushed
Stir to coat all evenly, place on dehydrator sheet. Dehydrate at 115 degrees for 45 mins. to 1 1/2 hours.
This is a finished photo. The house smelled just like they were cooked in a frying pan!

We didn't have any sprouted bread so we decided to use lettuce for our buns..... Add all the burger fixings to one side of the lettuce and fold to make your bun. Enjoy!!!

I laughed because even the juice left of the plate after the meal was over looked like it came from a juicy hamburger with all the fixins'. They were awesome! It's recipes like this that make me realize you don't have to cook things for them to taste great. All those old favorite recipes for cooked foods can be converted pretty easy with a little creativity!
